Murder at the Mansion: Traitors & Hunters
A Signature Interactive Mystery Experience at the MIT Endicott House
The concept combines the intrigue of The Traitors, the excitement of an escape room, and the immersive storytelling of a live murder mystery. Guests become active participants in a high-stakes game of deception, deduction, and betrayal set throughout the historic Endicott House.
The Story
On the night of his will reading, wealthy businessman Edison Endicott’s heirs gather at the mansion only to discover that he was murdered by a secret cabal of traitors. Before his death, Endicott devised one final challenge: if the traitors can evade detection and eliminate their opponents, they inherit his fortune. If the hunters uncover them first, justice prevails and the fortune is shared among the innocent.
Guest Experience
Upon arrival, every guest secretly receives a role as either a Hunter or a Traitor. Throughout the evening, guests move throughout the mansion solving puzzles, uncovering clues, questioning eccentric characters, completing challenges, and attempting to identify the traitors hiding among them.

As the evening unfolds, accusations are made, alliances form and break, and players may be “murdered” and return as ghosts who continue influencing the game. The final act culminates in a dramatic roundtable where guests vote on who they believe the traitors are before the ultimate reveal.
The Mansion as a Character
Unlike a traditional murder mystery dinner, Endicott House itself becomes part of the experience. Different rooms host unique characters, clues, and challenges, encouraging guests to explore the property while becoming immersed in the story.
